Stedman. Birthday Game--Sunday, 9/5 at 2 p.m.
We will also honor Joe Schwartz as a Life
Member on the occasion of his 90th birthday. Joe's special party will be
held Friday, September 10.
On Thursday, 9/16, you'll have the chance to
play twice! After our usual 1 p.m. game, stay for wine and snacks, with
supper at 5 and play at 5:30. Supper and the evening game for $10, or
play for only $8. We will be participating in the nation-wide Instant
Matchpoint Game with interesting special scoring. If you've never
played in this event, it's a lot of fun. A Gold Point will be awarded
in each direction, with the rest half red and half black.
Our 299er Silver Weekend comes September
18-19. If you have 300 plus points, we still need volunteers for
caddying and serving(NOT cooking). For everyone, we also need cookies,
so please bring your favorites.
We have Club Championships September 5 and
23. Team games for 0-299 players on the 29th and for Open players on
the 30th.
Our Senior and 299 Sectional is coming up in
October. Co-chairs Lynn Hawkins and Ann Register will be looking for
lots of help, as will Partnership Chair Maxine Hawkins.
